Hello! My name is Hillary Brundige, PhD, LPC-S, NCC! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my practice. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor located in Denton, TX. I have focused my educational training in First Responder and Veteran PTSD. I work with individuals, Couples and families to reach their personal and mental health goals. In addition to First Responder and Veteran PTSD, I also have experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses and stressors such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, women's issues and relationship discord.
I also provide supervision for LPC-Interns. I am passionate about helping interns through their development as future mental health providers. I offer weekly, hands-on supervision. I believe that the ultimate aim of supervision is to help supervisees provide practical, effective and ethical therapy to their clients. In order to obtain this goal as a supervisor, many things are implicated 1) Philosophy of Practice 2) Ethics in therapy 3) Ethics in supervision 4) Trust and 5) conceptualization of the supervision process.
