Dr. Brundige is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Denton, TX that has focused her educational training on First Responder and Veteran PTSD and is the founder and clinical director of North East Therapeutics, PLLC. Her experience includes research and a completed doctoral dissertation on the relationship between First Responder PTSD and the marital relationship. Dr. Brundige works with individuals, Couples and families to reach their personal mental health goals. In addition to First Responder and Veteran PTSD, Dr. Brundige has experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses and stressors within the civilian world.
Dr. Brundige also provides supervision for LPC-Associates. She is passionate about helping associates through their development as future mental health providers. Dr. Brundige offers weekly, hands-on supervision with the ultimate aim to help associates provide practical, effective and ethical therapy for their clients. In order to obtain this goal as a supervisor, many things are implicated 1) Philosophy of Practice 2) Ethics in therapy 3) Ethics in supervision 4) Trust and 5) conceptualization of the supervision process.
